Considering that Romania has, in recent years, been undergoing a grassroots-driven process of strengthening its civil society, we developed this festival to expose the local community to some of the most important contemporary artists, independent journalists, and activists from various fields.

Together with our guests, each edition of the festival featured discussions and workshops on topics such as the state of democracy, media and fake news, the challenges faced by citizens, and opportunities for community engagement. In addition, every edition brought interesting exhibitions and other artistic activities (theater, film screenings, and music).
